Fingal County Council and Dublin City Council organised an 8-week programme where 5th Class students took part in completing their own marathon. Students performed running sessions each week inching them closer to completing their first marathon as well as learning about the benefits of physical activity.
The finale saw the students running their last mile and completing the marathon at Morton Stadium in Santry. Ms Behan and Ms Cleary/Redmond's class had a wonderful day and the children received medals and T shirts! They should be extremely proud! Well done everyone.
