Patrick from Heritage Ireland has been planting with the children. The children were planting onions and carrots. The children are learning about seeds and how to correctly plant them. They learned about various types of soil and how often vegetables need to be watered for growth in our polytunnels. A variety of fruit and vegetables will be planted over the next month in our polytunnels here in St Francis of Assisi.
The children have been busy digging in new soil for our Polytunnels with great top soil with Mr. Conroy.
